From Merida
Once in Merida you can rent a taxi or for the more adventurous ones use the combi or collectivo (local mexican public transportation van) to arrive in Sisal. It’s not the most comfortable way to travel and very time consuming. The combis are often crowded and without air conditioning. But in case you want to give it a try … Here you go!
First you will have to take a van to the village Hunucma. The mini van station is located in the center of Merida on 64th street between 65 and 67, a few blocks north of Parque San Juan and the main cathedral. Once you arrive in Hunucma village, you will have to switch in another collective transport with direction Sisal. This transport leaves next to the main church of Hunucma and will bring you to Sisal in an 20 min drive approx.
